Went to the game.

Perth only played 5 or 6 players who have played league and even then the total combined league games of those players would be around 20 games.

Swans played the vast majority of their best players according to one of their supporters. Ames, Notte were two that I noted - also thought old Matty Rodgers played well. No play from Elari.

Big news for Perth fans is that Brett Hodge had a wrist op yesterday and will miss 2-3 months. Injured it snow boarding.

On the game.

I thought

42 Blake Borrett played fairly well.

33 Brent Edmonds (fairest and best of colts last year) played very well.

37 Kieran Hug very well.

I was disappointed with Manuel,Richardson and Chrimes. All players i hope to make the next jump this year. I would put Hunt in that category as well except he didn't seem to get much game time.

Clem Smith showed some promise, Arangio seemed ok, Holland seemed ok, Sandilands took a couple of marks around the ground.

Cheers Flag. Looking at that team that would be no where near our best team on paper. Quite a few names there I'd never heard of. How did Ben Power look?

There were so many players that i didn't know and I couldn't really keep up with even half of them so I couldn't give an accurate comment on Power.

I was there till halftime, TFAF you are kidding yourself if you reckon there was 5 or 6 league players out there that was the reserves team out there that's why I left and I am now at medibank actually watching a league game of football .

In all seriousness why even bother if that's the team being put out. May as well just have match simulation at training. I hope someone got something out of that

Those guys you mentioned are fringe players who are yet to establish themselves in the league side, as Sacko said what was the point in sending out a ressies side.

I would of thought getting game time into the league side would of been the plan
