No he didn't. Unfortunately he didn't seem to know much other than a new E.P player was at training. I'll go down again another night this week and see if I can find out anything.
With a bit of luck there might be another update email from the club soon letting members know if there have been any new arrivals.

Disappointing that the Club has not updated the website or had an early communication. They've been back on deck for 2 weeks now.
Last update was Merry Christmas.
I hope Borrett is one of those EP ressie players as he would be very handy.

1961 - What nights are they training at the moment?

DF.....at the moment they are training Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting at 5.30pm. There were allot of players on the track on Friday night; a quick head count looked well in excess of 60.
Hayden Busher was training, doing mostly running. Has just returned from America so not sure what condition he's in (and his hips), so hopefully he might be OK to go this year, but in all honesty I wouldn't be expecting huge things from him; just one step at a time.
There are allot of tall colts boys training, there obviously still young and relatively inexperienced but hopefully one or two of these fellows can show something this year and with Leyendekkers out there as well the squad has a bit of height about it. Christian Eyers looks like he's trimmed down a bit which might improve his leaping capability against the taller ruckmen. All 3 Morton boys were also at training. This year, like all years I'm hopeful / optomistic but I still think the squad lacks a couple of mature talls and a high quality mid-fielder, we seem to be reasonably well covered in the mature utility type footballer in the 5'11" to 6'3 range.

I think Eyres does alright at the tap outs.

I just think he needs to be more mobile and take more marks and do more around the ground. He is always improving imho.

I think a couple of our tall ex-colts may surprise. I hope so anyway.

When I was at training for the Christmas party last year I watched an aboriginal lad come off the field. Looked like a running type player. I said to a bloke next to me is that must be Gerald Ugle and was advised no that is one of the EP boys that has come down in addition to Borrett!

So Lucifer I take it Borrett is training with us?
Has he signed?
He would really be handy I reckon.
