Why are you boys so keen on EP reserves players.....develop your own and give them a go....thought you guys had a better reserves side anyway?.......don't understand all the excitement about list cloggers......some of your colts boys such as Garstone, Hill, Merson et al would be better bets than some of those EP players......

The problem i have is Eyres and Leyendekkers dont get a lot of the ball and looking at Borretts stats either does he,i am curious as to why he would be considered a"good get"?
We need experienced Ruckman/Talls to help develop these guys.
Recruiting ressies talls from other clubs i dont see the point unless of course they are something special(and if they were the afl would have them).
As you say Freeze better off developing our own as opposed to recruiting list cloggers from other clubs!

Don't get your finals hopes up on news of the extra EP boy training with you. You guys are doing him a favour by letting him train with you not the other way around. Great kid but more suited to ammos or the bush.

It might surprise some therefore that Eyres is our best ruckman.
Scoring and marks are his deficiency, but then again he gets better as he develops.
Lleyendekers almost as good in hit outs and disposals.
Borrett needs to work on his hitouts.

Given his age Borrett would compliment Eyres and Leyendekkers nicely share some of the ruck load and I believe can play forward.

And 30+ I know what you going to say next.

The best ruckman we've had for a while who could go forward and kick goals was shown the door for missing a couple of recovery sessions don't understand it the wafl comp isn't far off amateur level.

We so badly need a ruckman.

In your stats you have included 35 ressies games for Eyres and 9 ressies games for Leyendekkers in there stats totals opposed to Paul johnsons full quota of league games(76) and Seaby's(95 league games).

My opinion is Eyers should be the number 2 ruckman with an experienced ruckman as the number 1 who can teach him the finer points of rucking.
Eyers has potential as does Leyendekkers but they are a way off at the moment.
There is a heap more to rucking than just hitouts.
