Randsted I think has signed for Kyabram someone was saying before either on this topic or another. Could have been Lucifer that said it I'm not sure.

And I'd be happy for Higgins to come across if he wants to. There might be some players looking to move clubs before the June 30th deadline.

In regards to recruiting the club had a massive crack at Sellar and as we know he went to Souths. That's how the cookie crumbles and you move one.

When it comes to recruiting, especially in the WAFL you have to account for the player points and also the salary cap. I would have loved if we were able to get the players that Port Melbourne have got in the VFL but they work under a different system. You also have to look at getting players jobs, uni and if the have a family or partner, setting them up as well. Jackson Sketcher who had a good 2013 went back to Victoria I think because his girlfriend couldn't find employment.

There are so many factors that need to come under consideration when recruiting players and another is transfer fee's or costs associated with the player.

While I would love a 60 goal and 140 marks a year forward, a midfielder in the mould of Ross Young, Rory O'Brien, Luke Blackwell or Kane Mitchell and a key ruck like Paul Johnson, I don't want it to set the club back $100-200,000. Would much rather have this money spent in the development teams (Starting at the 14's) and developing as many HOME GROWN players as possible and those 7-12 point players are ones that bring the extra edge to the side.

A new player has appeared on the club website.... Sean Lynch, wearing a SF jumper but listed as a Perth player on the WAFL site.
Age 20. Played 1 League game 17 disposals. 8 Ressies for ave 12 disposals. 34 Colts for average 18 disposals. State 18s 2011/2012, State 16s 2010.
Is anything more known??
Any news on Borret and Tim Hunt? Are they still training at the club?

Sean Lynch.. ex Kelmscott. Dual Colts premiership player with SF. 185cm speedy player with good disposal. Was touted as an AFL draftee but has missed out.
Played ressies in 2013 plus one league appearance (17 disposals)

Found this over on Big Footy Smokey.

Sean Lynch - 185cm, South Fremantle

Highly touted player is Lynch, attacking defender who can push up into the midfield. I'd expect him to be a key player for WA this year. Very nice speed and he knows that it's his main weapon, so looks to use it whenever possible. Throw in a great kick, and he shouldn't have to wait too long to get drafted.

Speed and a good kick impress me and hopefully he can use them. I will still wait till the preseason games though to judge him as I have never seen him play.

Is he a genuine league player or a ressies player at best hoping his luck changes at another club??.
He couldnt get a league game at a struggling South Freo who finished 7th on the ladder.

BTW there is a meet and greet with players on today between 1pm-4pm. It cost's 100 bucks for two people and it says that you are able to meet the new recruits.

If anyone goes down maybe they are able to tell us who has signed and who has left :)

I've heard Sean Lynch has signed with Perth......ex SF player.....perhaps someone can't ask him, on smokesters behalf, 'how good a player' he is, I reckon Smokey will sub someone the 100 bucks to get that info ;)
