Simple maths Ted IF both Tails and Gibba are available Avery would have to make way along with Sing. South’s are tall so I’d definitely keep Steel in there to support Eyres who always does well against the caveman. Hopefully Fisher is better for the run and ready to put the clamps on Sloithe again but good players usually bounce back and Sloithe will have team mates who will help him out.

Higgins came off early in the EP game and appeared after with his arm in a sling. Not sure if he’ll play on Saturday. And i dunno if that helps us or not

DD, it seems the point is moot because the injury list, dated 21 June, has Gibba a week away still. Taylor does not appear on the list. I thought Avery played well in his two games.  Plus I think Avery has the wheels to play as a tall winger. If we were going to drop a tall defender to bring Gibba back, I'd drop Hill ahead of Avery.

I think we need to be careful not to make too many changes this week. Taylor, if fit, is an automatic inclusion. May be best to leave it there for now. Maybe give Rogers one last chance and see whether Quill and Hitchcock can back up their good numbers in the reserves. I think Richo needs at least more week as well.

Taylor should be back for the WP game. Gibba should be available this week. Both were running laps on the second oval during the colts game on Saturday.

By now it shouldn't surprise any Perth supporter. Apart from the Spaldings (who eventually defected to the club their junior mates played with) and the Cables I can't think of any son of a gun that's pulled on the Perth jumper in the last 30 odd years. I think Wayne Currie had a son who played mostly reserves, not sure he cracked a league game.

He's the one who kicked the sealer.....you may have left by then. Mid and forward- quite a solid kid.
