Thanks for clearing that up. I thought it was our old friend Ninja who may have been reported, but the good old Sunday Times stated Coniglio as being reported.

Watched the replay again just see if the result was the same.
It was definitely Ninja reported for an incident on Coniglio.
The cameras didn't pick up the incident just the free kick and report.

Like others have said, outstanding win against the odds We'll see if Yeo is right to go v WP or gets another run in the reserves. Another wet day is forecast, so big bodies like Yeo, McP and Gray might be important.

On another note, I note ET has been moved to 99 on our player list, usually reserved for those who are still technically listed but not going to play. What a waste.

Yeo only played 3/4 and blew up (gassed) I heard. He’s not ready and they plan to give him another couple of games in the two’s.

ET I heard played for Pingelly last week, might have been reserves or B grade or something. Apparently not allowed to play league at any level yet. I’d say his fitness isn’t up to standard which makes you wonder why he bothered agreeing to the AFL demands to be eligible to be drafted at the end of this year if he’s not doing everything possible to be fit. I’m only guessing.

Why bother STD? On a tablet it’s just like the real thing even better. I don’t like it on a desktop too tricky to find the pages and expand. Or are you old school and you keep a scrap book?

My understanding was that ET was eligible to return to reserves as of 22 May and then league about a month after that. He was being mentored by Brady Grey. So he should have been back on the weekend, after 4 months of sold pre-season training, in tip top shape and raring to go.  Instead, he's in Pingelly and effectively off our list.

No problem giving Yeo a bit longer if we have to. We have two more games, then a bye, so maybe after the bye might be a good time.. That should be around the time that  Sinclair and College and maybe others should start coming back.

I think you will find it’s Calingiri reserves. Didn’t break out of a walk yesterday and hardly got a kick.

Anyone who thought this bloke would seriously apply himself and play WAFL.

Watched on Facebook.
Commentary crap as usual.
Fisher was superb and led the way.
Great game by Eyres, did Higgins 33 to 27.
I thought Hitchcock showed some good signs.
Can't get over the improvement in Cary's game.
He and Stubbs are giving us a bit up forward.
What do you expect of the commentary?  It isn't going to be people of the ilk of Dennis Commetti, Sandy Roberts, Drew Morphett commentating the game.  Most of the time it is younger people starting out or elder people that just have a passion for it and get a chance to do it through FRS.

Any coverage is better than no coverage at all.  And if the commentary really bothers you turn the sound down and just watch the game.

It was ninja on coniglio.
That was a classic ninja performance in my eyes, teases you, underdelivers and gets reported. No loss IMO.

Agree, he was as weak as piss and completely disappeared after getting reported. Full credit to the coaching staff. They did their homework and had some good match ups.

Maybe we can get a head ducking coach down to the club? FMD I've never seen a team with so many serial head duckers in it like South. How many fkn frees did they milk with that shit? Schloithe's frosby flop in the third quarter was my favourite.

Some of those ducks could have lead to some of those tackles getting him high and causing injury.  There was one where he was flat on his face holding his head for a while.

I like a paper copy on the weekend. So hang me. A lot of mistakes.

That ex ump wants Willies scalp to add to ET. What a nasty piece of work.
Who is this ex ump you keep referring to?

As for Jack Avery and Jaiden Hunter it would appear that they played in an internal U19's trial match at Leederville Oval.

Perth’s Jack Avery played his usual intercept-marking defender role to perfection, racking up midfield-like numbers.

Fellow Demon Jaiden Hunter, who has been playing a mix of seniors and league this season, also impressed down back.

Intercept-marking defender Jack Avery also didn’t play on Saturday after getting his toe stepped on but should feature in either colts or reserves next round.

As you can see the article states that Avery played well but also didn't play on Saturday so not really sure with that.

Here's the link anyway.   WA 19s trial match: Richard Farmer, Zac Fleiner, James Tunstill, Kaden Harbour, Jake South, Jack Avery & more | The West Australian
