Noticed we've won 4 out of the last 5 against SF, quite and achievement when you consider where both teams are usually on the ladder. Got a feeling though this isn't going to be a W but I will be more than pleased to be proven wrong.

A win will be out if the question if we continue our poor first quarters at home.
We don’t want this game to be over at quarter time.
Im not sure which team will be favoured on the predicted wet day. 
It should at least peg South back to our level a little bit.

Unfortunately over the last 40 years it has been easy to predict the result after 5 minutes.
I fear this may be the case.

McPartland and Yeo playing in ressies. No sign of Taylor or Avery. Richardson an out for the ressies. I scratch my head

Let’s hope for 3 hours of heavy rain from 2.00 pm on Saturday. That is the only way it will look respectable. The midfield is a huge concern with players we have out, and Byrne’s form. I would put Coniglio into the midfield, he is a classy player and we need some skill in that area. Regan Clarke and Langlands will have to carry the load as well in that area and have big games. I think our only chance is if we can somehow break even in midfield and our forwards perform well. We need Busher, Rogers, Cary etc to produce the goods, but it won’t be easy.

Hendo obviously will have a tagging role perhaps on Ninja. Browne? well I do not know.
Where is Richo?  EJ obviously not yet ready for ressies let alone league.
Avery on senior list but no down for ressies, league nor colts.

At least it all will make SF wonder what we are up too.....hopefully.

 

It would be nice to hear from the club about what is going on. Why aren't Richo, Quill, Taylor, Masten, Colledge or Avery named in either league or reserves? Can't believe guys like Martin, Perkusich and Bird are named. Their numbers in the twos are awful, not even close to league standard. Why go with so many talls when rain is forecast? And then there's McP, who has the sort of body shape well suited to wet weather footy, coming off 28 disposals in the reserves, and still can't get his spot back. We are fielding weak teams in all three grades. I agree, we need to pray for rain just to keep the margin respectable. However, I don't really mind keeping Yeo back for one more reserves game.

Unbelievable stuff. We are in self destruct mode. If our season was not already over it now appears dead and buried.

It is mind boggling our injury toll this season yet I think our overall fitness has never been better. We have run games out really well even in our losses. We have outscored our opponents in the 4th qtr of every game bar one and that was 14 points a piece against EF.

On ET I think he was supposed to play for Gosnels last week because of the state game. Anyone got any intel on that? Also heard someone say at the last game McPartland and Richo were dropped for discipline reasons to do with training.
