True, but given the circumstances, I'd rate that as a good win.

The real test is next week where our record against WP is not good, either home of away.

Watched on Facebook.
Commentary crap as usual.
Fisher was superb and led the way.
Great game by Eyres, did Higgins 33 to 27.
I thought Hitchcock showed some good signs.
Can't get over the improvement in Cary's game.
He and Stubbs are giving us a bit up forward.

Gibba came off late with an injury. Hope it is not too bad. We cannot afford to increase the injury list.
Interesting stats... Hitouts 37/47 Marks 78/61 Tackles 79/60 Frees 28/26  (yeah that would be right - not!!)
Marks and Tackles excellent stats. We took the game right up to them.

Best win I’ve seen in god knows how long given the number of injuries we have endured, especially to our top bracket of players. Thursday night I spat the dummy, threw the toys out of the cot and kicked the cat. I thought we were no chance and it was 50/50 if I was going to go. Thankfully I made a late call to go and absolutely wrapped I did.

That was ticker and a never say die attitude. No passengers today. Everyone can hold their head high and well done to Christian Martin and Corey Hitchcock on your debuts today. You were both good contributors. Keep taking your chances continue to get better. What a win. Time now to set ourselves for WP who we know are our bogey team but you guys proved today you can accomplish anything if you put your collective minds to it.

Smokey Gibba was on crutches after the game but no moon boot so hopefully just a bit of swelling and he’ll be ok. Fingers crossed. Kane La Fontaine was one of the best in the ressies so he might be the one to come in if Gibba doesn’t get up.

Great win especially when it looked like the game was slipping away from us early.
Having a red hot go that’s what you want with so many injuries.
Now to put this West Perth hoodoo behind us.
Can’t wait to get McIness back in to the forward line to see how it goes with in form Carey and Stubbs.

Did anyone go to presentations? I’m keen to know who got the votes

DD i was the same on Thursday night, wondering what the hell was going on with selection and what the fuck we had to do to keep our best players on the park. I gave us no chance, but it ended up being the best win i’ve seen in a fair while.

I'm still not over it.
Like everyone I am thinking how good was that.
At quarter time I had severe doubts about us keeping it respectable.
We have kept the reining premiers to 1 goal after quarter time.
Quite remarkable.
A couple of blokes have stepped up and a couple of youngsters showing promise,
Bearing in mind our season has been cruelled, not by us but by injury, I am thinking there maybe some positives after all.

Fisher is the younger bro of the Carlton Fisher?

Just shows how to stop Schoithe, a hard tag will see him spit the dummy, he's terrific when the games open and no tagging, like he did against Subi, he will cut you up but put real persistent pressure on him and he falls away, "duck for cover", that's why he hasn't been drafted.

Well done to Perth, A good message sent to the WCER that despite a massive injury list you can still have a decent go and win games, it's all about attitude.
