I like a paper copy on the weekend. So hang me. A lot of mistakes.

That ex ump wants Willies scalp to add to ET. What a nasty piece of work.
Who is this ex ump you keep referring to?
I think his name is Craig O’Donoghue?
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

Watched on Facebook.
Commentary crap as usual.
Fisher was superb and led the way.
Great game by Eyres, did Higgins 33 to 27.
I thought Hitchcock showed some good signs.
Can't get over the improvement in Cary's game.
He and Stubbs are giving us a bit up forward.
What do you expect of the commentary?  It isn't going to be people of the ilk of Dennis Commetti, Sandy Roberts, Drew Morphett commentating the game.  Most of the time it is younger people starting out or elder people that just have a passion for it and get a chance to do it through FRS.

Any coverage is better than no coverage at all.  And if the commentary really bothers you turn the sound down and just watch the game.
Agree 100%. In the first game of the year they were terrible but not sure it was FRS or  Show screens who are hired by WC.

Apart from an obvious early blunder when one of them tried to correct his co caller saying it was Henderson who kicked the opening goal. The other guy quickly corrected him and from there I didn’t hear any obvious mistakes. In fact I think Matt Chechens is very good and has quite a colourful way of describing things. Until these live stream services came along you were lucky if you saw 3 games a year of your club on the telly. Something those who don’t live in the city should appreciate.

STD, oops sorry I mean STT, you bitch and moan and slam everything about PFC, we have a solid win and you shift straight away to ‘next week is the test’ You know what, today was a fkn test, our boys responded. Stop being such a negative miserable prick
What's with the drive by?  This is a forum to discuss thoughts and although I disagree with STT on his views on Eyres, he isn't always slamming PFC. In fact I think he was probably about the only one of us that thought we had a hope in hell of winning last Saturday - I certainly didn't..
Now for my thoughts on the game.... Fisher absolute BOG. Shloth throwing himself forward, side to side and head back and for once the umps didn't fall for it.  Black does the same thing so lets hope the Umps are on the ball again.  Next BOG was Mossy, I said about 10 seconds before Busher went back that we need to set a spare in defence.  Byrna was good but I think he had his own tag and didn't get a lot of room. Cary was great and I though young Jye Clark was a big winner with his disposal and tackling.

If you are referring to the Perth vs West Coast game yes that was put on by whatever company that does it for the West Coast WAFL matches.  They are employed by West Coast to do a West Coast specific broadcast.  A bit like foxtel did that press red for Ed for a Collingwood match a couple of years ago and also one where Kevin Bartlett did one for a Richmond game.

Coverage was fan f- - -ing fantastic. Use to get none. Who ever is complaining must be a dead set misery guts.

Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

TFF some people will never be satisfied. The streaming game I watch recently was fine, not quite as professional in the camera work as the 7 broadcasts but more than happy with what we now have access to compared to no coverage beyond the Ch 7 game, at least the streaming commentators don't relentlessly talk about the AFL as is often the case in Ch 7 broadcasts.

As good as our win was against SF, I fear that the injury list is such that we are likely to fall too far behind. It's not just the players missing, it's also that when they do come back, they will take at least a week or two to pick up the pace and get back to their best. I just checked the list on the website now, and Gibba is out for 3 weeks.

According to the website, we have McInnes, Smith and Sinkers out for 2, Gibba and Masten for 3 and Grey and DBW for 4. No mention of Richardson and Colledge.

The most likely option to cover for Gibba is to send Busher to full back. We can't afford to have someone like Hill, who would be out-bodied by Keitel. It would also be a huge risk to bring in someone like La Fontaine for his first game against a player of that quality. Of course, that leaves our forward line a bit exposed, but hopefully Cary can maintain his form. Wet weather forecast, so I  would like to see McPartland come back in.

Yep, agree, it's McPartland for Giblett for me too. Busher for Keitel who normally monsters us and Coniglio for Knott the other terrorist. Maybe Hendo for Black, a player we never seem to go near when we play them. The balls going to be on the ground a lot on Saturday which suits us and might help mitigate WP's extreme pace.

Just to highlight what an outstanding job Fish did on Schloithe last week, the serial head ducker only had four kicks for the match - three of them from free kicks and one soccer off the ground.

Martin is a more than decent forward. I thought he would play league at Subi. Give him a chance....he might surprise you.

Spot on LaH. I though Martin was terrific on Saturday, competed really well in the air and held his own as the second ruck. He's been a slow burn but he showed a bit in the intra-club practice matches and he might have finally found himself a role now in the depleted Demons line up.

Wasn't that long ago I watched him play C2 amos for Hammersly-Carine when he was struggling to crack a reserves spot. Well done to the young fella. I like the look of him, probably as a third tall ultimately but for the moment he's a got a key role to play for us.
