To those who are concerned about communications from the club. It should not replace website and emails but I would urge you to sign up to the club’s Facebook page.
There is a mountain of news and videos on this site to keep you up to date including live streaming of games and highlights, interviews and you can comment on on any and all subjects.
Costs nothing so give it a try. I am far from an expert on matters cyber but even I can navigate my way around it.
Correct Smokey. Facebook is pretty easy to navigate and is a great source of information. The problem with Facebook as a primary source of info is that your accounts can get flooded with rubbish and important information can get missed in hte traffic overload. For this reason alone everything that goes into social media also needs to be readily available and easy to locate on the web site.
Under the communication umbrella the source of information is not what many are complaining about. I think its more the lack information being filtered to them or the timeliness of that information.

This being said, I think the club over the past 2 years has gotten al lot better with this.

I just wonder why the WAFL clubs simply cannot live stream or conduct a live radio type broadcast for Home matches on their club websites? Except for SportFM, the rest of the mainstream media being bloody useless!                                                                    If the WAFL clubs became active in having a game coverage through their webpage, would be good I'd have thought. The FRS do a great job, but they don't cover every match.                                                            Swan Districts used to have the Swans radio on their website. Surely would be relatively easy for Swans to organise a coverage for Home matches through the club website. And didn't West Perth have the same type radio setup through their club website in previous times.       Just saying.

I agree PD.
In my experience if you sign in to and confine yourself to PFC Facebook you don't have a problem.
