What started out as a brilliant start to the season even accounting for losing McInness which I’d hoped we’d only lose for about a month, has now turned out to be a disastrous afternoon for us if as rumoured we also lose Nicholas (thumb), Smith (hamstring) and Masto. I do remember him limping off at some stage, ankle maybe but pretty sure he ran out the game. We’ve already got Fisher on the sidelines for maybe another month.

Well there’s going to be plenty of opportunities for others to show their worth. Swans go in as firm favourite on Saturday night.

Devastating to have these injuries after a hard won round one win.   A real test now for coach, selectors and depth for the club. This is a test against what looks to be a very competive side.

Well the club has just put up the injury list and some good and bad news. Smith’s hamstring is a 4 - 6 week stint on the sidelines, McInness 12 weeks, Fisher another month. But no mention of the three O’s, Masto, Nicho and Richo. Would be great if all three are fit to play.

We will obviously miss Smith’s run and McInness’s presence. Based on pre season form I’m expecting Jordan Reid to make his debut and I’d like to see Stubbs come in for Smith. If Richo is fit he definitely comes in but not sure who makes way for him, that’s a tough one. Probably Jye Clark but after his debut on the weekend he doesn’t deserve to be dropped but probably a case of last man in first man out when a senior player returns. 

Richo if fit and ready to play would be a big in.....fingers crossed.
I expect Reid to replace McInness and backup ruck. McPartland to midfield. Quill may come into calculations.
If Nicho is out I would have Nyika John.

Richo and Reid are the in's. Great news on Richo and great timing. Reckon Stubbs might be on standby but we won't know until we watch the reserves on saturday which I can't wait to see.

Great to see Two Dads playing reserves 
A bit of luck on the injury front with Masten coming up.
Richo will lessen the injury impact a little.
I thought Reid was the obvious in for McInnes, he is very athletic, has good skills and can pinch hit in the ruck.
