Good comment mikeh. No amount of disappointment should outweigh respecting individual achievement. No matter the jumper I admire those WAFL stalwarts who turn up each season and give their all. One thing that’s happened at Perth over last 3 or 4 seasons is that we’re developing a core of players who’ve played 50+ games - College, Sinclair, Taylor, Gibblett, Eyres, etc. Add Rogers and McInnes coming back and some smart recruiting of WAFL players, like Yeo, Richardson, Coniglio, and Lague. And with good couple coming through colts and the twos.

Well done to the Demons, the years in the wilderness have ended and your hard work has been rewarded. I truly hope you are able to enjoy the finals and no matter the outcome reward yourselves with a well earned pat on the back.

Yeah he did and yeah the injury update does say season.
I’m pretty sure after the siren he was out on the ground congratulating the players throwing his arms around them hugging and it didn’t look to me he was protecting his thumb or favouring a injured hand/thumb,maybe I read it wrong.

Yes if Perth can break the hoodoo against the Falcons, anything could happen. A very exciting finals series looms. Souths are still favourites because they will be playing all their games at Freo but they certainly don't have that aura of invincibility that Subiaco have had for the last 5 years.

Guys just want to say what a great venue Lathlain is now since the changes , I reckon the smaller capacity but with concentrated crowds really improves the atmosphere , and it was great last night.

Really enjoyed the can bar as usual , is it true the old stand will be demolished next year and replaced with a new state of the art stand , will be sad if cage bar goes , Hope they retain a new one.

Anyway all in all it will be a great fabulous addition and example of how a smaller venue can work well
