Surely if we win and Subi lose percentage is irrelevant...we would go up to 5 wins and they would stsy on 4....or am I reading the ladder wrong?

the PFC could make it on percentage if the following occurred

narrow defeat to South
WP win by 10-15 goals

the bottom one is unlikely because of the low scorring these days

I think it's more likely that Perth beats SF than WP beats Subi to be honest. WP won't do us any favours. If we had our best side available I would have fancied us to beat WP and Claremont in the finals and go through to the GF. Such is life in football world when you lose your best players.

Now that would qualify as a miracle!

As mentioned elsewhere, there is even a remote chance of EP making finals. If S lost by, say 25p, and EP beat Peel by just over 10 goals, EP would overcome S on %. For Perth to lose to SF and still make finals would be even less likely. If we lost by 1 point, S would have to lose by about 12 goals. If both Perth and Subi win, that scenario is reversed: we would have to have a narrow Subi win, and a 12 goal win to Perth. So obviously enough, we have to win and hope S lose. The most likely outcome is that we finish 6th.

It will largely come down to the two sides that are announced in a few hours time.

Also whether South Freo throw the game by resting most of their A graders, to make sure they dont have to face the horror of another final v Subi.

It’s not impossible that WP beat Subi by 35 and we beat SF by 35 but VERY UNLIKELY.
