Thought McPartland was terrific in the last qtr..just kept finding the ball and getting it forward..add a little polish and he will be a great player for us.

Agree, his desperation in that last quarter throwing himself into contests was fantastic. A lot of guys stood up in that last quarter. M Jones, Hendo, Dela it was a real spirited performance.

Anything and everything is possible. This is the year to pinch it. We’ve given ourselves a chance. Let’s take it.

14 v 15 frees?!?!? Like fk. Are we in North Korea? SF got an armchair ride from the maggots. You can double their frees. How does the WAFC get away with this fraudulence?

Amazing turnaround from last week where we seemed so flat. The effort today was immense. A bit lacking in polish, but we got there on sheer grunt. McPartland had 9 touches in the last quarter. Fisher, Colledge, Grey, Taylor, all excellent. Rogers and Richardson bounced back from poor games last week. The only slight sour note was that Logan chose the wrong time to lose his radar, and wound up finishing second behind Shaw in the Bernie Naylor.

Well done Perth. After last weeks performance against Swans I didnt give the Demons much hope but they showed a lot of character to turn that around. They are obviously a great bunch of guys who showed respect to Matt Riggios 200th by clapping him off the ground and then came up to the club rooms after the game despite their obvious disappointment at dropping the match. That shows great sportmanship and maybe karma has provided some reward for them today.
Good luck next week.

Thanks to all the other supporters for the good wishes, especially the EF supporters after all that carry on earlier this year. Leggett is now an EF player, let’s move on. Huge task for us next week against our hoodoo team, but who knows.

Great last quarter from McPartland, Taylor, Hill, Fisher & Delahunty. I counted at least 3 free kicks that were not given in our forward fifty.
It’s so disappointing that we’ll miss 3 key players - Masten, Yeo, and Byrne. I don’t think any other top four team could say they have 3 of their top 5 players out - and all midfielders. Having said that, the guys who’ve come in have covered well.
Final comment - that Rogers mark showed so much strength and footy smarts.
