It appears an afternoon of wet weather footy been forecast around the grounds.
Going to be an interesting round of fixturing.
Interesting to note in four games West Perth averaging 37 points in the first half and 37 in the second half.
Whereas Perth in their 3 games averaging 39 in the first half and 35 in the second half.
Both teams will be confident of a win, especially after last weeks results
This match being covered by SportFM.

This game effectively shapes the Final 4, doesn't seal it but will make things a hell of a lot easier. We have been really good, our attack at the footy has been excellent so us supporters know we will have a crack.

Everything crossed but I have no idea where or how we get this monkey off our back. Need a hell of a lot of inside 50s to counter the fact that we have an out of form backline and WP an in form forward line.

Can we restrict supply and get enough ourself?? Hardly. We know WPs midfield very well. I don’t know why this week would be any different from last 20 games.

But I’ll be there cheering and hoping.

You broke a long standing hoodoo last week so that would give your boys a boost of confidence, it will be good game, both sides desperate.

Not sure that I am confident.
But Leedy is right.
It is time.
You have to win one sometime.
I think we are better placed at the moment to beat anybody.
And I don't mean that we are the best by any means.
What I do mean is that we are better equipped up forward to score and to thus give the opposition something to worry about.
In the past us going forward meant a scoring opportunity for the opposition.
Not so this year.
Yes we still have to deal with midfield battles and curb the opposition forwards.
I am confident that we can match it with WP.
Hopefully some desire to beat a hoodoo may bring a result we want.
Hopefully a good game and a win for the DEES.

This mob and SF are the best run and spread outfit in the comp. If we want to insist on playing a ridiculously high back half press and rely on Giblett and Coniglio's pace to get back when things go wrong and teams break through good luck against these Ponzi scheme bandits. That's why teams always remain a chance against us.

Some of you guys are fkn mental calling for Langdon to get dropped. Who did he play on last week?

Hard to see how we can improve our midfield but Stubbs has to come in and why not throw Zareth Roe in there for Rogers who will get a holiday although he's not going to give you any defensive pressure.

4 weeks! you must be kidding me? When was the last time that sort of penalty was handed down in a WAFL tribunal. Rogers must have nearly killed the bloke for that sort of punishment.

Where did you read that? That's BS if true that's half the season. I expected him to go but 1 or 2 weeks at the most. Did the EF player play no further part in the game and end up in hospital?

Wait till you see it officially.
It is an EF person that has let that fly.
I will believe it when I see it.
Nothing on the WAFL site that I can see.

4 weeks seems well beyond the usual sort of penalty imposed. Re the game, I agree it's hard to see us winning, especially with Rogers out. I guess it comes down to one of Stubbs, Roe, Cary or Dennis as a replacement. Personally I'd go for Roe, just for that x factor. Agree WP run and spread in a way that we just can't match. Both teams have a good forward line, but their midfield is superior. As STT said, our backline has been poor all season and may get opened up by Keitel, Loury and Knott. Albeit I was calling for Langdon to be dropped, it may be we have to keep him so we can allow Sinclair to play his intercept marking role in defence. He's been ok as a mid, but I still think he does his best work in defence and we look more organised and composed with him there.
