Unfortunately Rogers did get 4 weeks down to 3 for an early guilty plea. Assessed as intentional, high impact and high contact. If that’s the case how come the guy got up, took his kick and carried on for the rest of the match?

And 4 matches is in effect half the season. Seems very very harsh. We have to appeal this.

I guess a precedent has been set now...be interesting to see if the powers above are consistent with this ruling from now....I guess one has to start some where and someone has to be a sacrificial scapegoat....

Pity about 6K and his injury Ted....any chance that over ager killing it in the Perth colts might get a run in the league soon?..... seems to be too good a talent not to be playing seniors....

Seems a pretty harsh penalty. Perhaps we take the 3 weeks which means he will be back for the last two games before the finals.
Casey Nicholas has to come back into the side. He is in great form. Could he play the Rogers role?? His best games have been in defence but maybe he could be tried on HF line.
There may have to be some positional changes. I cannot see anyone in the ressies really pushing for a league game. Stubbs has been playing on a wing but I thought he was a forward. Perhaps he will get the chance to step up.

Maybe Stubbs is playing on the wing to get his fitness up?

Yeah. I was thinking that. Very few options. That means Casey Nicholas has to slot in somewhere. Perhaps Davis misses out. Has been a little disappointing and errors have crept into his game.

Matt Rogers has accepted the 3 weeks for an early guilty plea. Right when we come up against WP, Claremont and Subi. Damn it. By taking the early plea he is eligible to play against Swans in round 8 followed by Souths in our last H&A game.

I reckon this gives Sam Stubbs his opportunity so who knows it could be a silver lining if he measures up and then Rogers comes back we might be more dangerous.

What about Quartermaine in the Colts or McPartland They say the former kicked 7 goals the other week and the later is a big strong body.
