:silly: :P :silly: :P :silly: :P :silly: where are you now Caro???? Demetriou???? ALP???? Can't wait to here the conspiracy theories that will come from the other side of the fence now the evidence had been shown to be insufficient. Many lessons to be learnt from this saga from the entire football community including Essendon but what's most important is the real victims in this entire saga, the players, have been afforded their constitutional right of being found innocent of charges that could not be proven to a comfortable satisfaction by circumstantial and flimsy evidence based on assumptions and not facts.

Over to you Peter....I'm goin to the pub :P

the players can thank their own club for providing the insufficient record keeping, hopefully they dont have any long term health issues from not knowing what they were given as their club couldnt provide it.

‘Utterly disgraceful’

ASADA will announce tomorrow whether it will appeal the tribunal’s finding.

“What happened at Essendon in 2012 was, in my opinion, absolutely and utterly disgraceful,” ASADA chief executive Ben McDevitt said in a statement following the verdict.

“It was not a supplements program but an injection regime and the players and the fans were so poorly let down by the club

“While I am obviously disappointed that the charges in this instance have not been proven to the comfortable satisfaction of the tribunal, I am pleased that the tribunal was able to finally hear these matters.”

All I can say DW thank **** for the paper shredder did I hear right that the tribunal deferred their decision on Dank, I suppose if they found him guilty at the same time as the Essendon players that wouldn't go down to well.

Decision on any appeal from ASADA tomorrow morning could still be a twist in this saga yet.

Just watched Jobe Watson and the players face the media on Fox. 100% cooperation and honesty with ASADA from the players am still the so called evidence did not stack up. What is disgraceful is this bunch of fine young men were condemned by the majority long before anyone knew any real details of what supplements were actually used. The real disgrace is how bloody conditioned we are in this country to trusting anything we read in the daily agenda of the media who have been disgraceful as a whole in their false reporting of hearsay, dubious actions via 'leaks' and personal vindictive agenda throughout this whole sorry saga. Jobe Watson, I believe you.

Agree mate.. Always found it strange that when I first read of it when they took the Supplements they were not illegal? How can you make an offence an offence when at the time it wasnt an offence. :(

The AFL have shown they are a pack of incompetant bastards and we can now see why the Greek got out when it got HOT!

Now for the damages claims from the players and Hird.. against ASADA ... It will come to Millions and being a Government agency it will cost the Tax Payers.
Sounds like another mass sacking of a board will be in order.

Well done Essendon and all the best in the future at least you will be A RICH CLUB NOW!

Well said. Get over it. There was NO PROOF of any illegal doings. Those calling Essendon ' Drug cheats" could be subject to LIBEL. Great result for all.

What are you on about they will always be known as the dopers/cheats who got away with it the stain will be there forever , insufficient proof doesn't mean they didn't dope.

I have four questions that I think the community has the right to ask the AFL and ASADA. Id love to ask these to Ben and Gillian......

1) Who ran a 2 year investigation that wasn't able to find evidence of drugs being administered, and if that's the case who advised ASADA and the AFL top go ahead and try to prosecute with such shithouse evidence?

2) What was presented in the courts when Hird tried to get the evidence outlawed, what was he trying to get banned?

3) If the court deemed the evidence was collected fairly then why didn't they rule then that the evidence was inconclusive and may not be able to be acted upon?

4) who is accountable for the actions the AFL took in the first place to run a number of people out of the game because of the darkest day in Australian sport?

While the verdict is puzzling, it has been handed down. If the investigation was sh1thouse then who is accountable for that???? We were quick to hang players and administrators (myself included) based on what we were told.

Essendon may have gotten away with this one, or they may not have. I guess we will never know unless players start growing tails in 15 years.

Now lets get on with round 1 and bring on the footy, i'm sick about reading about dickheads and drugs in our sport, I wanna read and talk about football
