not sure why the players are so excited, a lack of evidence of what was administered has got them off but this lack of evidence means they dont know what was actually administered !

good point MO...in fact, didn't the compounding chemist who tested the stuff for Dank say it was Thymosin Beta 4? I could be wrong but I thought he made a statement to that effect.

The finding states it was in illegal substance, thats now clear, just that they could not be certain it was administered , what this is saying is your club can load up its lockers with PED, but as long as you can hid the fact your using it , all is OK, is there any other proffesional sporting organisation in the world that would come out with a finding like this???

Well said. Get over it. There was NO PROOF of any illegal doings. Those calling Essendon ' Drug cheats" could be subject to LIBEL. Great result for all.

The other interesting point it was the AFL TRIBUNAL that found them not guilty
Not a court of law. Now you would think in the 3 years they were investigating the ASADA claims they could of come to a decision earlier and saved a lot of grief.
Interesting that the Greek jumped ship and with a new leadership the problem was solved. That speaks for itself. Will be interesting if ASADA does appear and waste more money as it will be before the AFL again or maybe they will take civil action.
As someone said gunna be some rich lawyers over east if this occurs either way.
We are looking at Defamation,Loss of earnings, Loss of careers, Club costs in defending the action, Slander etc etc etc etc etc ..

All players have been cleared to play this Saturday as well. They will be a happy bunch as they will be thinking of the Motza they will get out of this.

Danks has not been cleared and that continues.

any statement made needed to be backed up by records of what was administered to a player and/or a positive test.

I am confused how it got this far if there was insufficient evidence as wasnt the initial issue that Essendon didnt keep sufficient records of what went on ?

Dank and Hird will try and claim their methods were justified no doubt.

Bazza they are not claiming it was NOT administered.. it was but at the time it was NOT ILLEGAL SO THEY WERE NOT GUILTY OF ANY OFFENCE. In the case of the NRL Rugby club it was illegal and they got hit big time. Same guy Danks of course and he is not out of the Woods

He has, ASADA are absouletly outraged apparently, they will be giving a statement this arvo.

As for the AFL , I guess when you investigate yourself , you get the result you want.
