Wonder if the WA Premier will take note  of the NZ PM expected announcement today of a five stage opening of the NZ borders from Feb 28th. Pretty sure both have been in close consultation these past 12 months.....Would of thought WA wouldn't need 5 stages though....probably only 2 or 3....but then again we are talking about McGowan here.

That's right Freeze, its all very well to delay the opening but we do need a way forward and hard dates to plan going forward. We can't just drift along in the never never, I see international airlines like Air AsiaX are now restarting flight direct from Sydney, people here will start getting peeved off if WA people miss direct flights to Asia while the eastern states get moving again.

The fact is this slack arse premier has dragged his feet and done SFA to make any significant improvements to our hospital system. It's a well known fact he doesn't even let in doctors and nurses that have applied to come here. He likes it the way it is and will use any excuse to keep it this way.

Everyone knows he could have stuck to opening the border this Saturday and put a cap on the numbers coming in either number of flights or numbers of people. He could have staggered it and have a suck it and see approach before increasing the limits.

Just heard Scott Morrison backing Mark McGowan a few minutes ago on 6PR. Piss weak safety first approach because there's an election around the corner.

And SloMo said WA now has more people double vaxxed than QLD. Brilliant, for what? What has it given us? FUCK ALL!

19 cases today. Two of them high school students. These students and their class mates have to quarantine for two weeks. This is insane. 

we were promised that if we were good girls and boys and got the jab life would return to relative normalcy.

Here's a conspiracy theory for you.

Perhaps McGoo is getting huge pressure from Pinko Albo and his comrades to keep doing what he's doing as long as the polls stay in McGoo's favour. Pinko see's that as vital to winning seats in WA which could be decisive in the coming election.

Maybe there's a carrot and stick approach by Pinko & his comrades, do what we want and we'll give you a better GST deal for WA, if he doesn't it may go the other way.

Not just the students, everyone who lives with them as well unless they have a two bathroom home and can isolate from each other in the home as Sue Ellery painfully explained yesterday. I'd be pulling my kids out of school if I had school aged kids.

SCOMO knows if Canberra starts bashing McGown and WA over Covid, he might as well kiss what seats they have left here good bye, Most voters here are parochial WA that hate Canberra and think we have done well , Sco mo managed to patch up  the hair brain Porter/Palmer high court challenge but got his fingers burned and chucked it into reverse.

Its going to be hard enough to hang onto seats here as it is, so he will be walking pretty softy on the anti WA stuff.
