Can someone with half a brain (that excludes you uncle Bob) tell me what changed from when McGowan announced the Feb 5 border opening date he said if we get an outbreak between now and then and it gets out of hand we might open sooner as Feb 5 will become irrelevant??

Anyone explain what's happened between then and his backflip that's different?

Thanks mike but I thought after I posted this question I should have added and don't anyone say omicron. Remember, Delta is much more deadly than Omicron. McGoo said if it gets out of hand we might open sooner.

Take your price gouging anger out on cockhead McGowan who has created the demand due to extreme limits on who can come in. If there are no limits then supply increases and prices will plummet.

No way DD. Qantas is no better than the cockheads that are importing Covid test kits from Asia and India and selling them at inflated prices to desperate people, even though they are not passed as suitable.  Making money at exorbitant prices during a national crisis is about as low as anyone can get.  McG can’t do anything about public thievery.
