Again off point because I think you do know that you are making it political and you are doing so because you think it brings glory to your beloved party. I will continue to remind you and those similarly confused, that people of your political persuasion whilst purporting to be virtuous (oh so) demand complete obedience to the party and repeatedly cause the starvation and death of their subjugated.
Pure unadulterated crap.

Tell that to the Current North Koreans, and the Russians, Ukrainians and Chinese of the early to late 20th century. People on the left don't care I know because it doesn't suit the narrative but it is really important to remember so we can stop it happening again. Remember the Left don't love the poor - They hate the Rich.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

I will probably have to give up on you Swan - I can feel and see you get a lot of you sense of agency around your stance but I will ask you to please look at the numbers mate. Where ever the left get a strangle hold misery ensures.

It's not something to be taken lightly or something to ignore just to hold on to an opinion.

Rich countries become breadbaskets real quick and it is scary mate.

71 new cases reported in Victoria.  In NSW they recorded a third successive day of over 800 new cases.

As a postscript I see that they found the NSW premier who managed to turn up to today's presser.

In parliament today Morrison was asked to table the document that he was quoting from in terms of opening at 70/80%.  He refused to table the document.  Why would Morrison not want the Australian public to access the medical advice relating to opening up at 70/80% vaccination rates?

Even His McGowan-ness has said that the document mentions the use of strategic location lockdowns after 80% vax, so if there's an outbreak in the norther suburbs then they are locked down, or Peel or Bunbury and the like. My opinion is that at 80% ++, we need to know that we wont have state wide or even Metro/Peel lockdowns at the drop of a hat at 1 case. I'll be in the 80% so if the Covid deniers get it I wont give a rats. Need to use the Covid vaxed app as a kind of passport so those that have done the right thing can move around relatively unrestricted whereas those who choose not to vax have to live with restrictions but that will be their own choice.

The first point that should be clarified is exactly what 80% means.  Does it mean 80% of the entire population or 80% of those eligible to receive the vaccine?  It should be pointed out that at 80% of the entire population it means that there would be over 5 million Australians not vaccinated.

It is indisputable that when we open up there will be more cases than what we currently have.

As a matter of interest does reaching 80% mean that our international borders will also open up with no restrictions?

I would hope it means our international borders are open to inbound and outbound pax who are fully vaccinated.  Once we hit the agreed target be it 70, 80 or whatever % then we should be able to move about freely here in Oz and in other countries as determined by their govts.   McGoo can have his micro lockdowns if it makes him feel better and those who choose not to be vaccinated can cop what's coming to them whatever that may be.

still reckon there'll be a 20 to 30% of redneck that will refuse vaccination or have anything to offer
