So if that is a reasonable measure then perhaps the quarantine process here and elsewhere could never hope to achieve a 100% rate. The AMA and others expect 100% but simply have no concept abt these proceses despite being highly qualified in their chosen fields which is often not epidemiology.

My point is that blaming without all of the facts, knowledge of the processes and circumstances is a little silly.

The AMA have been found to correct with every issue they have raised along this journey. The AMA represents Medical Specialist in all fields including infectious disease and they good thing about them is they are speaking wholly and soley on that basis and not like Mcgowan with political spin covering blues.

I remeber way back when all this started and the AMA where pleading with McClown to close the state borders and he had a huge blue with them saying it was impossible to do..the rest is history.

fact is 97% of infections would of happened by Monday, what he should of done was waiting till at least one close contact came up positive confirmed a cluster and locked down then. Thats what NZ did, and NSW do local containment and have had a lower death rate and infection numbers than Vic.
