This was a shellacking pure and simple. To the point of embarrassment. During the 2 tests Australia lost 13 wickets at an average per wicket of 90. Pakistan lost 40 wickets at an average of 27.9. Just a no contest and totally boring unless you want Australia to bury their opponents everytime. I found myself more drawn to the Eng V NZ tests which at least had some semblance of competitive edge even if it was slightly slow at times. Where was Sarfaraz? At least he gets narky and there would be some combativeness about Pakistan when he is in the team. Dropped apparently, the captain who replaced him was completely clueless.

Pakistan at times showed good fight with the bat for a session or 2 but were unable to sustain it for long enough.
I know they are a relatively young Test side but they seem a world away from that great side who took out the 92 World Cup at the MCG with the likes of Imran Khan, Javed Miandad, Inzamam Ul Haq, Salim Malik, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Mushtaq Ahmed etc

Interesting to see the Pakistani 16yo fast bowler Naseem Shah who debuted here in Australia back in November has taken a Test hat-trick against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi.
I have absolutely no doubt he would be the youngest Test bowler to do so.
