I have been surprised at how uncompetitive the Pakistanis have been in this series. They were actually very good in the warm up game against a strong Australia A team. However, apart from Babar their batsmen have been unable to come to terms with the bouncy pitches and the bowlers have been cannon fodder to Warner and Labauchagne.

I'm sure the Kiwis will be more of a challenge

The Kiwis will put up a lot more of a fight then the Pakis Mike.
Dont forget NZ playing Australia is like an Ashes series to that lot from the shaky isles.

Zaheer Abbas made a habit of getting big runs against Australia in Australia , years of playing with Gloucestershire in England made him familiar with bouncier seam friendly conditions
Javed was pretty young when he first played down here
And it was either Mushtaq Mohammad or Sadiq Mohammad who got runs here as well

But I've never seen a good Pakistan fielding side in any era but India were the same up until a few years ago

Another good 1980's Pakistan batsman.Left hander that had a good technique against fast bowlers. Scored big runs V Australia and the West Indies Wasim Raja.

Zaheer had the text book technique .High back lift and straight bat+lovley foot work.

Yeah he had a huge exaggerated bat lift and almost always seemed to be balancing on bent knees playing the ball
that bloody Gunn & Moore bat belted us quite a few times
and he wore big old fashioned glasses

Wrapped it up despite a taking a bit of a snooze toward the end of Pakistan's first innings and they needed to seeing India are miles clear up top
