Eddie needs to give the mic up he was disgraceful yesterday.
They were even calling the wrong West Coast players names,dont know how often Mitch Brown was called as McKenzie and vice versa and there were others.

Terible wasnt it Eddie bleeding on about the Bombers....heres a thought ED, it was all self inflicted you Dummy, why should anyone show any sympathy for them. As reagrds commentators they have been a disgrace and getting worse for years. At the end of the day, they all have terrible bias to A) a team they played for or b) to talk the game up for the underdog. c) in the tiges v freo match, it was becuase they "knew" the greater % of the audience would be for the Esatern states. Look its no diff hear, its 90% about dockers eags..just check the news etc of a night.

what caught my attention in yesterdays ess/eagles call was just before the end of the 3rd quarter. game was in balance, then young player Cripps kicked an incredible goal from the boundary 50 metres out. the commentator cried out "oh no, oh no". What is going on here!! there is no doubt AFL commentators are the most unprofessional in the world, compared to your pick of any elite sport commentators elsewhere. its about time these fellows grew up

cameron ling is a very good unbiased commentator. very highly respected

i think zempalis can be quite sqweemish to listen too. i dont know the word, but he seems a bit to gooish. he isnt bad on radio, but tv not so.

Good to see that people thought the commentary was biased and unprofessional. I thought the same, but wasn't going to mention it in fear of being accused of Vic bashing....hey unk?

all good 58. Denis seems to be the only one with a modicom of decency. i think all the commentators (mainly vic) , have been disgraceful and ignorant to the whole seriousness of this entire event

something about lingy, makes me think he aint a bad bloke. Limited footballer , made the most of his abilities. Pridddis is a similar type footballer

Yes agreed, Lingy is a legend. The other commentators try and persuade him to be bias etc, to which he does bite but only does it in a humorous way.

Yolo....you obviously have not heard Eddie in a commentary box....

Also had to laugh when they were making comment on Fletchers hit on Crisp saying he(Fletcher) should be ok because Crisp is only rubbing his shoulder(when sitting on the bench) funny thing was just after saying that Crisp is then clealy seen on tv rubbing his jaw....no comment!
