Those expense would be on the balance sheet Falcon as assets being depreciated. The murmur of unpaid super etc has been around for 3 plus years. Mismanagement straight down the line, I'm still tipping criminal charges.

I honestly think most of it has gone into the hidden costs of relocating into that new building, it looks like the club was handed an empty building that needed a large amount of money spent on it to bring it up to scratch.

Anyway that’s my take on it

You may have been dudded moving to Joondalup.East Perth and Perth got talked into moving to the waca in 1986 in what was supposed to be a great deal. They both lasted a few years as the reality was it wasn't.

Is it true East Perth are looking to move to Whiteman Park? Or is it BS

I Heard it on the rumour file today. It was mentioned at the last Agm that their are some issues in staying at Leederville. It was not one of the possible relocation sites mentioned at the agm.

It would appear that the Shitty of Vincent want both clubs out of Leederville and the question of location for both clubs is an issue. The options raised have been Wellington SQ but the problems there are obvious, the WACA again, ground sharing somewhere or a developed ground, just another issue for the WAFC to deal and another bullet for the WAFL to shot with!

I am not sure how you doit but my daughter said why not start up a Go Fund Me page on facebook.

It would appear that this a easy option and often used to raise funds for good, better and not so fundraising efforts.

WP are an ideal and great issue for this and it apparently allows for a widespread coverage, folks sharing page with their friends and mates. I know EP used it for Beau C and it was quite effective.

It might not raise huge amounts but it spreads the word and might be a way to get in contact with past supporters, players and the general folk.

Wasn't aware of this. What's the reasoning - Are the Shitty looking to turn Leederville Oval into apartments? Is there a timeline? After being more or less forced out of Perth Oval this is a disgrace!

The Shitty also have a gun to the head of Floreat Athena over at the old velodrome - so there's a trend here.

OK, answered some of my own questions.. EPFC current lease expires 2025 - and there is a 9 year option after that ....

HOWEVER ... there is this -

imagine.vincent.wa.gov.au/economic-impact-of-leederville-oval

... and I am guessing the board knows the results of the final report ?

Yes $ubiaco know they are out of Leederville soon and have purchased another site for their home ground.

Are WAFL clubs insured against financial mismanagement?
