BH and Baz: I do get it on the susidy, I even get that people on here might not want to assist them

The strangest thing about it for me is that they went into 'administration' without approaching their fans and the rest of the football community. 'Administration should have been the absolute last resort.

Russell Ellen has now resigned as a director of the club.

I agree mate but maybe they just thought it’s just to much for their supporter base to climb. This way the supporters and members know it’s do or die. Hopefully if they think like me they will dig deep to help the club which has given them so much joy over the journey.

Good point BC, I have said it for years and I will say it again, our Wafl clubs deserve and need Pokies, fark me if we can have cage fighting we can have pokies, the states a joke,

On the WP club site there is a good post outlining the position of the club. But I could not see anything there about donnating It needs to be in people's faces more that the club is in trouble

This a snapshot of what was brought up last night- We are $790k in debt, we start fresh from 28th Aug once accountants have squared away and balanced the books and negotiated repayment plans with creditors, 10c or 20c in the dollar, what ever they agree too. There was reference too Swans back in 2000 and they went to the members quickly and got through it sort of, they were always chasing your arse like most clubs. Accounting firm now have control of the club until the 28th August, our coaches and match day organisers continue with what they are doing.

Still quite a few questions need answering, no doubt the administrator will get to the bottom of it

And yet there was no expense spared at the free for all function last week at the club............

Some of you guys are wondering where has the money gone?
I honestly think most of it has gone into the hidden costs of relocating into that new building, it looks like the club was handed an empty building that needed a large amount of money spent on it to bring it up to scratch.

Anyway that’s my take on it
