SDFC fan base and passion does not stack up when confronted with the facts.

Considering that SD were pulling poor crowds as far back as 1990 when the WAFL was still quite strong , bearing in mind C and Sf had pulled over 38,000 the year before , you clearly have not got a leg to stand on.

SD have failed to pull a crown in excess of 30,000 EVER in the modern era, post moder or early modern...lol fark me even Subi and Claremont have managed that.

No it wasnt check the records it was 46,208 FACT.

the only time SD attracted a crowd of over 50K was in 1982 , 50,833.

In fact there is a good argument that SD was a detrimental value to the passion of WA footy because in 1983 and 1984 attendances fell steadily condign with with each SD appearance, only arresting in 1985 when they were absent and S v EF played.

Further evidence to dispel the bongo valley urban myth.

Mate you are talking toy town figures, 22,000 - 24, 0000 are so small they are irrellevant in the sceheme of things, honestly boasting about 23, or 24 K is bloody embarrasing seing all the hype you blokes pump your tyres up with.

Even their first GF since 1984 in 1990 was a flop turn outwise. 26 was barely more than what your getting in recent times.
