Great effort by the boomers to finally win Bronze after so many attempts and on the back of a sensational game by Patty Mills. To see the level of focus the guy had was awesome and that carried along his team mates to a higher level. Leadership 101.

How good was the Boomers performance during the Olympic basketball competition.
They took on and beat many better credentialled basketball nations and even lead the near on unbeatable USA dream team for a good proportion of their clash.
Without a doubt the best Aussie team performance at these Olympics (outside the swim team) and something for the hockey boys to learn from!

Overall this has been a successful foray - the Basketball game was outstanding and they pushed the USA for a long part in that earlier game
No way I'd have predicted 6th place in the rankings no way at all 
The cycling is one that I've watched a bit of and it's been good to watch the tactics of it

And the Australian mens hockey team were ranked 1 before the Olympics and yet again came up short....
