BH perhaps you can check Channel 7 or Subiaco Football Club websites. Last place would be the WAFL site probably.

They are listed here but not on the WAFL home page, although the Swans v West Perth game is on tonight apparently :silly:

Is this the same people who suggested that we were playing Souths in the ressies yesterday? How difficult is it to get the fixtures right?

Beasley Hutton wrote: Chopper I think you may have misinterpreted the point I was trying to make to MD & Turtle in that we were not the only side out there yesterday that had guys drop back that had qualified.
Wasnt talking specific numbers but the likes of Worthington, Waters, Garcia, Lefanu, Bestry, Blenchynden, Latham, Featherstone, Jackson, Heal et al have played plenty of League footy for $ubi this season as had those boys named by Turtle had for Swans![/quote
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt BH but when you said "$ubi dropped half of their league players too" I'm sure you can understand my response. Bottom line is if $ubi were playing league last week the ressies side would have been very similar to the one that ran out against you guys. Anyway enough of that - look forward to our next game hopefully in a Grand final but I think it'll be next week ???

Well done to the Swans boys for turning a 33 point half time deficit into a 32 point win, so in the 2nd half they scored 11-9 to 1-4. Amazing turn around. Would be interested to hear from Swandog or Swan42 or others who were there as I couldnt make it. Big prelim final day next sunday with the colts also playing. Ressies guys will need to play 4 quarters if they want to beat Subiaco

Ventured down to both Royalties For Regions Park to watch the Colts and Leederville to watch the Ressies and it was looking like being a bleak old day at half time of the Reserves game with us playing close to our worst half of footy for the year but a massive turnaround at half time after a well deserved rocket saw us come out a completely different side with a fierce attack on both the ball and the opposition which was strangely missing in the 1st half.
Whitsed, Wilson, Riddoch, Ansey, Daniels et al really lifted and Nuich stamped his authority on the contest with some telling strong pack marks and finishing it off with 4 goals. A good team effort in the end and we now take on $ubi again after blowing the last clash against them last week.
The Colts took until half way thru the 2nd qtr to arrive in Mandurah but we gave a very good Claremont side far too much of a head start and couldn't quite peg them back in the end. We also now have to back up to Peel again for another chance to have a crack at the Tiges but we would want yo play a lot better than we did this morning. Good to see Smith back to his better form from earlier in the season was one positive from the game.
Now off to bed for me zzzzzz
