As for the Colts was good to put that Estuary Scum to the sword but Claremont are a very very good side.

BH if your referring to the free given to Dylan Elliot right on the goal line where the Swans lad slung him to the ground without the ball then picked up the ball and kicked a goal, that was one of the few times the maggots got it absolutely right, that was a clear free kick every day of the week. Maybe the reason your mob lost was inaccurate kicking, showing a level of inefficiency in your play and reflected by the fact you had 30 more disposals. But a great competitive game in perfect conditions by well matched teams. As Chop said earlier, we expect to see you again in the prelim unless there is a massive upset in the 2nd semi given SF had the same dominance in the ressies as Subi did in the league for the home & away season.

True 2 goals 6 in the 3rd quarter particularly cost Swans. Would hope that we can beat WP next week for a probable rematch in the prelim

Who cares about that compromised WAFL League comp more importantly does anyone know when the SD Colts & Reserves are playing this weekend as the Worst didn't name a day, time or venue this morning?

It will be an interesting conundrum for the WAFL BH as both the Subiaco and West Perth reserves teams are playing in separate fixtures this Sunday, so you would think both clubs would want their games at Leederville given that the league teams are playing. One scenario could be to play the two reserves games there, one at 9.00 the other at 11.30 and send the colts teams to Mandurah. This would be tough on Swans fans who want to see both teams in action though . I think if it comes down to a choice the Subiaco v SF game would get priority as Subi were higher on the ressies ladder than WP so if this happened it would be

Claremont V Swans (Colts)
Subi V SF at Leederville

Peel V West Perth (Colts)
Swans V West Perth at Mandurah

Can't see a scenario where the Swans teams would play at the same ground? Although I'm sure Bassendean would be available that day

My understanding is that it has to fit in with the league games so there is no inherent 'right' that a reserves or colts team has.

My suggestion would be that "Peel" play "East Perth" in Mandurah as a stand-alone fixture and Swans play at Basso in both the reserves' and colts' games and Souths play Subiaco at Freo in the reserves.

The Amateurs B Grade Grand Finals are being played at Bassendean on Saturday. Best option for Swans would be to have the games at Bassendean the following day.

Quote from the WAFC website under the finals arrangement

RediMed Colts and Reserves Finals will be scheduled at the same venues as League fixtures, with clubs to receive priority based on the final ladder position of their League team.

So the priority for teams in these finals would be

1. Subiaco
2. West Perth
3. Peel
4. Claremont
5. Swans
6. South Fremantle

So based on this, Subiaco will no doubt choose to play Souths at Leederville and West Perth will have to go to Mandurah to play Swans
In the Colts West Perth would have the first choice so they can choose Leederville or Mandurah for their game against Peel. Then the Claremont V Swans game will go to the other venue. Bassendean is not an option according to this as the games have to be played at the same venues as the league matches.
