Didn't seem to be many west Perth suppotrers from the few minutes that I could bear to watch, perhaps not many more than what subi had. The reality is swandog that with the financial advantage subi have they are going to continue to make the grand final 50 to 70 percent of the time

From a Swans' perspective it was a very disappointing end to the season yesterday. However, the significant improvement in our ressies and with the continuing development of our colts augurs well for a reasonable season next year. I will add my summation of the rest of the season of=n the other topic.

Whilst we had the disappointment yesterday, we only have to think back to the 1980 GF thrashing and what happened a couple of years later.

Fact is mate a Swans GF crowd will piss all over any other club in the comp I go to 30 odd games a year across the comp and it is clear we have the most diverse fans in regards to age group from kids up to the elderly and anyone in between that go to home games and away!! Quite often we outnumber the home team especially $alary, Claremont and Peel and v "East Perth" at Leederville this year the silence was almost deafening when they kicked a goal!

Not being a smart arse gents..... as I could not attend the GF on the weekend as I was out of town.

Your Reserves on face value did a very good job to reach the GF and probably were cooked by Sunday having to play 4 consecutive finals is a big ask.

Noticed a few players who are prime movers and important cogs did not get a huge amount of football ie

Riddoch 8 0 goals
Nelson 7 0 goals
Wityk 7
Daniels 11
Coniglio 12
Ansey 9

Did SF pay attention to any of them? or did they all perform below par? All are quite promising and important players if not drafted for SD in 2016.

I also note that three players got reported Whitsed , Ansey and Wilson? Would not have helped the situation?

Yeh mate a couple our players were a little undisciplined when you were only 16 pts up and then a double goal pretty much cooked the game. the umpires (Williamson, Worobec and forgot the other maggot) lost total control of the game at one stage and things were getting ugly. We were physically exhausted after half time and were never in it after that. I doubt any of the names you mentioned would get drafted next year, Riddoch would be the best chance but probably needs a stellar year next year for us..hope none of them get drafted anyway - hope they are playing with us!

South too good all year and on the day

SD you flatter Worobec far more than he deserves: he was considered good enough to umpire the colts' GF. One of the two in the ressies was McCann.

PS About the only good thing that came out of the presentations after the league GF was that Parry may have retired. The bad news is that his replacement has the potential to be as him.

42 one can only hope that Messrs Sinclair, Worobec, Williamson, McPhee, Edinger et al follow Parry into permanent retirement and that they all don't have a change of heart over the summer!
