I cannot wait for this game. Forecast is for 24 degrees and sunny . The Arena is a great place to watch footy. Two teams that will be desperate, West Perth to hang on to 2nd spot, Swans to stay in control of their destiny in the finals race. The history this year has been of two fiercely competitive games with each team coming out on top once. I can't see any reason why this Saturday will not be the same.

Swans have generally been unable to replicate their Bassendean form at other grounds this year, we have only won twice away from home and that was against the bottom two teams, however the potential consequences of this game may jolt them into action this week.

One thing is for sure, if Swans do manage to scramble into the finals they will be well and truly battle hardened because they have been playing for their season for many weeks now. Their never say die attitude and spirit has been a pleasure to watch this year.

Will be another tight game v two evenly matched teams who have both pinched games off each other this year they perhaps shouldnt have, SD must win to keep the WAFL dream alive of an SD v WP GF which will pull the best GF crowd since the 80's, but I fear a let down after last weeks massive effort v the league leaders, something that can happen when a young side wins against the odds - hope I am horribly wrong

Both this week and week 22 are very important matches in context with the season. And noticed Claremont (Away) play West Perth at the Arena in the last week. Wonder the last time West Perth travelled through a season not dropping a Home game?

Best game of the round, both teams have a strong following and Swans fans do travel to Joondalup and where is Channel Seven. %uck the WAFl, lets have a show about cats instead.

perhaps from an ego filled perspective maybe mate...best fans, best clubs, best players etc...but TBH WP can afford to lose this and still make the finals, just like Subi last week.....reckon the Cl v SD will be the best game potentially outside the finals.....loser definitely goes home then I reckon....gotta feeling Cl are gonna spruce up their % this weekend which might be a deciding factor.....trust EF to play a part in the finals finish some how hey .......

Freezin WP have to win this week no question.. they do not want to be playing either EP or Peel away in the qualifying final!

yeah but will WP miss the finals if they lose this weekend terror?....for comforts of home finals I understand the importance of a win but WP won't fall out of the top 5 if they lose on Sat will they?.......SD v CL is definitely an 8 pointer with everything riding on it.....though SD will be hoping for CL to fall short v EF to ensure a 2 game buffer if they beat WP.....can't see how EF are gonna get within 10 goals of Cl....especially if it's sunny!.....rather EF colts win than the league mate.....that's how bad things are for us EF fans

Terror check out the dates of the first week of WAFL finals and the last round of the AFL. When you do you might want to re-visit your comment vis a vis playing Peel any where or any time.

Swan I don't care who plays for Peel that week.. they will be ultra competitive being their 1st finals campaign. Much rather play them at Arena..

No they wont Freezin but they could lose 2nd spot which is not what we want!
