Not talking about 79, talking about if SF played EF this year as compared to an SD and WP GF, who would attract more? As BH eluded to interest in SF v EF seems to have waned a little..

Well considering EF nor SF wont even make the finals that is pretty obvious Swandog......lets just tally up crowd totals for all 3 derbys and all 3 WP /SD games at the end of the weekend and chat then........can anyone tell me the highest crowd so far this season?.....

How our mids go against Black, Nelson and co will be critical as will the battle between Blakely and Kuenan. Marcus Adams played well last time out so we will have to keep an eye on him. Houghton would be handy although Nuich did a good enough job last week in support of the ruckmen.
West Perth haven't been beaten at home this year so its going to take an exceptional effort to overcome them on Saturday. I'm certainly not sorry that it will be a channel 7 free zone there as we are 0-5 this year on telecast games :pinch:

Any news re Broady at this stage mikeh? Arguably our most important player this year. Huge loss if out. His health and well being must be put first though despite the importance of this weeks game. Hope it wasn't as bad as it looked.

Don't know anything more than you do DW but as you said it would be silly to risk his long term future for the sake of one game particularly if it was concussion, although I saw the video of the team song after the game and I'm sure I saw his colourful boots in the huddle, so he obviously wasn't completely out of it. If he is out it may be an opportunity for Warwick Wilson to step up to that running half back role.

Agree on Wilson mikeh...he has a touch of class about him and as his belief in himself grows will develop in to a player who we will all love to watch. Might not have the speed of Broady but knows where to go and his penetrating left foot kicking can be just as attacking as a dash from half back. I'm surprised he has been out of the team to be honest and felt it was because he looked a bit sore a couple of games back. Stand to be corrected there as I don't know, just an observation with that thick thigh strapping he is wearing. I'd be happy to see both he and Broady listed.

Subi can top that with our unwanted record 49 year drought from '24 - '73
But hang tough Freeze, times do change.

The teams are out, Broad is in. They have kept the faith with the guys who did the job last week and why not? I notice Logan Hughes has been named on the extended bench, if he plays he will be yet another 2015 debutant. I don't know a great deal about him as I don't see a lot of the ressies. Can anybody fill me in? His stats indicate he may be a bit of a tagger perhaps? Houghton has been named in the reserves, fair enough I thought Nuich performed well last week and deserved to be retained.
I have a feeling that Ricky Cary may be due to take a game by the scruff of the neck soon as he has been gradually improving after a very slow start to the season. Lets hope its this week.
Just an aside, does anyone know whats happened to Simon Donovan? Is he injured or is he no longer with the club?. I thought he showed a lot of pace and ability in the few games he played and would have been handy at this stage of the season.

Cheers Mad Dog. Pity that but I suppose he may have got frustrated playing reserves and Amateurs can be lucrative.
