The highest attendance so far this season being in Week 10 of round 2. The attendance for all the matches being just over 14,600. Be great if those figures could be conveyed every week.

One thing C7 has done is make more people go to the footy so we don't have to watch their crap.

I could have warned you not to waste your time with Donovan.

I don't think Cesspit was talking about football ability.

Had a crack again but we cooked far too many easy opportunities for goals with simple poor ball use.
108 tackles last week and only 36 this week  ..completely different conditions I know but it sums up our inconsistency not only from week to week but also qtr to qtr!
Broady to win our F&B for mine.

All 3 grades cooked the footy today BH. Perfect day for footy and we kicked it all over the shop. Interesting home ground advantage WP have. Felt hard underfoot and the unusual bounce in this surface caught our boys out in all 3 grades many a time. Hats off to WP today. Their colts out muscled us, ressies outsmarted us and league out worked us. We may have an advantage over WP in leg speed or at least hold our own against them but when it comes to endurance they clearly held the edge today.

Disappointing day for the club, beaten in all 3 grades, only the 2nd time this has happened this season. The league game was a competitive encounter for 3 quarters but unfortunately West Perth had more petrol tickets than us in the last 30 minutes.

After a slow start, Swans played some fantastic running footy in the first half, quick transition from the back line often led by Nathan Broad who has become one of the most important players in the team. The Falcons mids were dominating the centre clearances but Swans were more than holding their own around the ground.

I thought the third quarter was where we lost it. We actually had the ascendancy for large parts of this quarter but wasted so many opportunities by reverting to a short passing game by hand and foot which invariably put the receiving player under pressure and then the inevitable turnover. Poor decision making and skill execution. I thought if we had done this better we could have turned for home with a 3 or 4 goal lead and that would have been defendable even with a tiring side, but good teams make you pay if you don't take your opportunities and West Perth did just that.

I couldn't be critical of the team for their effort, it was spot on for most of them but like all season it is poor skills under pressure that is costing us big time. I hate to say this because Ricky Cary is one of my favourite players , but I don't think he can justify his place in the team on that effort today. I would bring in Houghton next week. Dylan Nelson did enough to stay in the side and I wouldn't make too many other changes although I must admit to being gobsmacked when I heard Riddoch and Burnham were dropped for today because I didn't think either were playing that badly ( trying to qualify them for the ressies finals perhaps???)
It was a mixed day for Rudy as he kicked 5 goals but got reported apparently.

So now its come to the stage of the season where Swans are no longer in control of their finals destiny. They must dust themselves down and beat Claremont next week and hope that West Perth beat the Tigers in round 23.
