I have been meaning to comment about the experience at HBF arena.
While the facilities look somewhat new,the banks are green and the playing surface immaculate,it must be said that the hospitality and service is definitely lacking.
To have to pay $3 more for a can than you do at Bazzo is disgusting! There was one bar with a line at least 10-15 deep everyone I looked over. And from what I could see there was only one small food van. Also,the old bag at the front gate didn't want to accept my free pass and once that was over she still wanted to charge me $5 for a record.
Makes you appreciate a day out down at Steel Blue!

Its almost a case of giving this weekend away if we are too banged up in order to make sure we get the win against Claremont the following week where Banfield and Doc should also be right. At this stage I can see best case being 4-5 after round 10 with a huge home game against the Eagles in round 11 to get the ledger back even.

I wouldn't write the guys off this weekend Mad Dog. I remember a couple of years ago ( 2013 I think), Swans were subjected to an insane piece of fixturing in that they had to play Peel in Mandurah on the Sunday which they lost and then had to front up 4 days later in an ANZAC clash against West Perth at Joondalup on the Thursday. The result was a gutsy win. There is a lot of character in this group. I would think they would only be training lightly this week

Yes mikeh I can remember it clearly. It was the 1st of the annual Anzac clashes and a great win. I think we may have had a better team back then and Peel are definitely travelling better for obvious reasons plus they'll be able to get full time recovery in and the extra day.
I'll be down there cheering but not going in withuch confidence. I'll be happy with a solid 4qtr performance,better skill level(especially on the hit ups) and no injuries.
