And the worst kept secret confirmed, Mark McGowan doesn’t know one end of a football from the other. Couldn’t catch it and struggled to kick it 3 metres.
DD McClown admitted it as such in one of his many lookateme press conferences last week with the words that came out of his mouth- "I couldnt care less about football"!
How very un West Australian of him or more like the real NSW coming out!
And the context of the comment was ..........
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so stupid people won't be offended

Probably a ground share at Fremantle is the most practical. The facilities at the Showgrounds for spectators are not great, particularly in wet weather. I think a ground share at Claremont would be better. Not sure where the WACA is at this stage in relation to hosting WAFL footy

WACA makes no sense to me at the mo, ground is to small and why would fremantle people want to drive all the way to cbd for every home game?

East Fremantle host their last Home match for the twenty  21 season on the 21st of August. I think that match against West Perth. Heard the ground redevelopment works begin the next day.

For the construction works, the purpose of the tender is to select a contractor to construct the new facility..........there’s been very little publicity about who got the tender here. Unless I’ve missed something???

The start clearing the site straight after the last game of the year apparently.

To me the only logical place for East Freo to play their home games is at Freo Oval.

The council reimbursing them for lost gate revenue is interesting, I wonder what sort of figures they’ll agree on. Even ten home games with 1000 people paying 15 bucks entry works out to 150 grand, and a derby with both teams high on the ladder would be looking at getting 3 or 4 thousand through the gates, a derby final would be significantly more and it’s 20 bucks entry for finals.

TOO - I believe that during any derby's and Finals (If EF ever make them) at the ground temporary fences will be put up so that people will need to pay to get in.
