According to aerial photographs on the Landgate website, the stand behind the goal was built sometime between 20 July 1970 and 10 July 1974 (the dates of the 'not there' and 'is there' images), and the larger stand south of the main stand erected between June 1977 and August 1979.

I have read the topics on the redeveopment at East Freo with interest, I'm not sure why we have digressed off onto a topic that seems to have become a bit of dispute between two members who aren't Sharks supporters on grounds that aren't East Freo oval.
Why is that???

That would be spot on I would say 1977 or so, defo way earlier than 80s. It was there late 70s.

City of Perth built a series of them at all three grounds Perth, Leederville and Lathlain. Similar design.

That’s because DD has an opinion on everything and only his opinion can be correct - though more often than not it’s proven to be wrong. Also PFC must be at centre of the Ozfooty Forum universe at all times.

The EF redevelopment thread is just another example unfortunately.

This discussion while it's veared slightly off the topic of the EF Oval redevelopment, posters debating shelter stands at EF Oval and other grounds is more than relevant. So find something else to whinge about or maybe find something in your brain to contribute about on this forum.

And congratulations to you two flogs for taking this topic, off topic. And by the way, it was me who stopped at EF Oval a week ago or so and bothered to take several photos and post them on here so I'd say I have contributed a lot more than you two lemons.

Yeah I am I was a lot closer than you, it was older than you said, turns out the greatest demon fan of all time doesn't even know much about his own ground as visitors

I have not posted on this site for a long time, but I visit it often.
I do not see dd called out for his nonsense like other members are.
He attacks other users & is abusive.
Do your standards not apply to him also?
