As the Fin Review accurately reported today RBA is already getting nervous about Albo Labor and the Unions starting a wage inflationary spiral - which is definitely on the cards as they have already singled, get ready for the economy to run of the tracks big time.

Pipe down chorus boy, your boy lost get over it. Might have to back the Karma Bus out the driveway and pick up a few more salty Liberal lovers. What’s your address in Dalkeith?

The way to tackle inflation is not to give people more money and increase spending thereby upping demand on goods and services. Increasing wages above CPI will only see the RBA using its primary monetary policy lever of further interest rate rises to slow spending down. That's the last thing WA needs with the highest inflation rate in the country already.
So what would you say to those on the basic wage BC if you were standing before them already struggling to pay the bills and put food in their mouths even before a 5% wage increase in line with current inflation rates? Suck it up princess? Thousands of those are parents with young children.
Yes I take your point DD but in all honesty I think the RBA got it wrong lifting interest rates as much as they did as I don't think the current inflation rate and increases in living costs can be completely attributed to spending.  There's a lot going on with fuel prices through the roof, Covid related supply and supply chain problems, floods in the East and so on.

I'm not suggesting for one minute I'm as qualified as those guys and have all the data as they do, but to me it seems odd that they're pulling levers to stop spending and cool demand when there's a lot of other factors at play which are pushing prices up.  Plus lifting interest rates will also make the cost of borrowing money for business more expensive which will have to be passed on and also add to inflation.

Perhaps the government could subsidise gas, water and electricity for struggling low income families to ease the pain a bit as I'm not sure wholesale wage rises is going to help pull in the cost of living in the long to medium term.

I think that’s a bloody great idea to subsidise genuinely struggling families with power, water and maybe car rego subsidies.  I have no problem with my taxes going to genuine needy families.  I get ratty when the tight arsed greedy pricks on good money put their filthy hands out for it as well.

We have a state government that's drowning in money but the prick still increases taxes and fees for essential services, then think they can make us all feel grateful for a measly $400 power subsidy, a subsidy that everyone gets not targeted to those that really need it. The Emperor is sooo out of touch, preferring to wallow in vast amounts of mining royalties that are the only reason for the states economic situation.

McClown has no bigger critic than me in the way he handled the pandemic but one thing he got right was to keep the mines up and running even when the rest of the state was effectively shutdown for no particular reason. By doing that, it certainly cushioned the economy both here in WA and nationally and I guess we have to give credit where it's due.

Other than ensuring WA has bucket loads of cash through royalties plus our increased GST share which was nothing to do with him, this state is in disarray in other areas including the health system, homelessness, crime, out of control Metronet, the nation's highest inflation rate, skills shortages and so on.

It'll be interesting to see what happens in the by-election for Catania's seat and if the tide is starting to turn against McClown.  I don't think anything can be taken from the federal election as that was a parochial vote against ScoMo for initially backing Palmer  in the HCA and calling us cave dwellers but it could give an indication if people are starting to wake up to just how arrogant and out of touch this bloke is and how poorly this government has performed over the last few years.

Absolutley spot on BC. we all know real financial brains know this, we also know Albos economic hero is Gough Whitlam which is why the RBA is sounding the alarm as we all know where that clown took the place.

Just watched an article about the greens leader Brandt, shamefully disrespecting the national flag at a press conference. The journo's and Bill Shorten's responses was perfect and showed up this totally disconnected scum-sucking arsewipe and his fellow fairy's at the bottom of the garden for what they are.

I read the piece of shit’s article too.  He’s a dead set pig fkr that should never sit in an Australian parliament again.  He’s bought a new low to his moronic party.

The last two Senate seats where decided. One Sunday afternoon,Pauline Hanson in Qld.And the last Senate seat in Victoria, Monday afternoon..Has been picked up by the United Australia Party, with 0.3 of a quota. On the back of Green preferences and One Nation Pretty sure the Greens leader has oversteped the line here.
The Republican movement are behaving badly atm.Waiting for Charles to take the crown.Albo appointed a Minister for the Republic.Dont remember this being spoken about in the election campaign. The Greens leader has sent there campaign backwards.
