The big highlight for me was getting a hug from Dakota's mum after the game and chatting with her and Dakota's dad. What great people. The boys did it for you today Dakota. We will never forget you. What a day.

That’s great to hear. The love and resilience of Dakota’s family is amazing.

Who does the stats Barbie?
Free kicks 17 all FFS.
Subi had half that in the first quarter.
No way they even.
Sub gets iffy ones and our legitimate ones get ignored.
No wonder fukn excuse for a coach Wardman talks for close to half an hour out on the ground before the game to all 3 umpires.
And Wardman does it every game I see Subi play.
A fukn disgrace.
And the Umpires are not made accountable.
It is not in the interests of the game for Umpires to have such conversations with Club officials.
The umpiring in general was a shit standard just like the game itself. Farone almost got his head ripped off in front of goals in the dying stages when the game was on the line sticks in my mind the most.
Well I agree Wardman should can his little chats with the maggots as it’s done us no favours, we have copped the shit end of their stick for many years.
Subi the powerhouse everyone thinks? Pffft like I said we will finish somewhere in the bottom 5 without a good ruckman

Well done to the D's, totally deserved the W, were far more intense at the contest and made Subi look tragically slow. The number of times Subi had to either kick under pressure or the ball was touched off the boot or smothered was an indication of how switched on your boys were. While the umps were confusing at times they had no impact on the result as they were equally bad for both teams. Your hard run ahead of the footy was impressive and you caught us out several times on the rebound. If you bring that attitude each week you'll trouble plenty of teams this season. Great result for Dakota and his family.

Good work by your mob and if you looked at the stats, you'd think Subi won but clearly your lot worked harder and wanted it more. As SS says, the umps had no bearing on the result as we may have got the first 4 frees of the game as someone pointed out, but your lot received the next 4 from memory.

Both sides had a red hot crack but skill errors made the standard of play pretty ordinary to be honest. Anyway, winners are grinners so well done to Perth taking out all 3 grades.

Good result for the Dees, should be a good game next week but I am predicting we will finish bottom 3, until we get the likes of Alexandre and Hamilton back (2/3rds into the season) our back line is young and shaky. Our spirit will keep us in it for long periods hopefully.

your boys played well on Thursday. Don’t think you’ll be bottom 3.
