Thanks, DD, maybe it's not as bleak as I feared. Realistically, we have to concede that we are very unlikely to beat S and WP in our first two games. We may be able to snatch a win v SD after that. We then have what should be a timely bye on 20 April, so  we could hope to have Johnston and Sog back after the bye. I hope Della can get back on the field soon. I think he has the ability to be a mid at the same level as Byrne, but he just can't string games together before going out injured again. 

I wonder if it's worth looking at AJ as a key back until Johnston and Sog are fit? Especially against WP, I can't see who can do a job on Keitel. At least AJ has the pace and body strength to go with Keitel. Whether he has the work rate is another matter.

What I don't want to see is us rushing players back that are underdone which could result in recurrence of existing injuries and more time on the sidelines. We just have to suck it up and hope that others can step up and get the job done.

Joseph Chaplin I mentioned this guy on Saturday. 
He seemed to be playing forward with little impact on the first half I saw. 

Decent size though 194cm 92kg - maybe could go back. 

AJ / looks slow to me but as someone said may be a good option. At least I saw him get a bit of mongeral about him at one stage. 

Brogan Henry, Sing and Taylor will need the games of their lifes for us to go far the next few weeks. 

A bit rough asking one of the key position colts to step up but if the football department says ok I will support them. 

Will be a test of depth for both teams, we have Giro, Schoefield, Braut and Hayden missing from our mids that I can think of. I think it will be a good tight contest.

A couple of players to debut against Subiaco. I won't say who but team will çome out Friday night Saturday morning I guess. Schlensog, Johnno and Ewing all participated in match sim which is promising to see.

Massive job for Scoble in particular. I trust the boys to look after him
 

I know it's early and Scoble is being thrown in the deep end out of necessity.
But IMHO he has a very bright future.
He reads the play very well and his intercept marking was very good.
From what I gather Noah Cachard deserves a chance.
Don't know much about Chaplin but he must come highly recommended.
Edwards did well in preseason games from what I gather.
