Sky News saying Turnbull will quit immediately but ABC commentators saying Turnbull will likely stay on until the next election to help Scott Morrison get through until the next election. I hope he stays on. Going to make for interesting viewing of the body language on the government back bench.

It is my opinion that Dutton should resign from parliament effective from the next election, the same can be put forward about Abbott, you try and lose then go away.

The 40 Votes against the spill is a damning indictment on the folly of Dutton and Co , it was a vote for unity and stability.

Interesting to see what happens now to the main agitators. Will Dutton be reinstated as Home Affairs Minister in the interests of keeping everyone happy? Will Bishop stay on as Foreign Minister? What about Greg Hunt who was a big supporter of Dutton? Who will be made Treasurer now? Fun times and no doubt there's all sorts of manoeuvring going on as we speak. I would piss Dutton off to the back bench, he has s 44 issues and is on a paper thin margin and is likely to go anyway so no point wasting resources on him.

Bishop for now is still FM , but they reckon she might get Treasurer , the one to watch is Christian Porter expect him to get Treasurer possibly as well, Cormann and Cash have stuffed up big time, probably on the outter now,
