Yep, mate, got to admit like BC was impressed with Turnbulls Press Conf. he's standing his ground and calling it on, but I think you are right this mob have been cooked for 2 years or so,and they will get smashed - Im not exactly sure why..the economy is going OK, wage growth is bad, but I think cost of living costs are kicking in mainly power on the eastern seaboard , plus immigration is hitting Sydney and Melbourne hard in a lot of ways, house prices are cooling over there and interest rates are still low. things could be a lot worse.

the last thing we need is Shorten and his hair brain high tax anti resources and busines gaggle of nut bags to start hammering WA just as we are about to come out of the mining slump, iif he smashes through changes in negative gearing capital gains, mining tax, company tax , he will have full support of the Greens , so this is a highly dangerous period for WA.

Interesting with Bishop. , dont like he chances tbh, there has only ever been one WA based PM ..Curtin.

BC MT has said that if he is no longer the PM he would resign. There was some talk about whether there would be a by-election or not. If there is no by-election then the Liberals are down by one. If Pyne resigns as well then it will be two. Very precarious ground under those circumstances.

RDO bazza.

42 life is too short you would be better off spending your Rdo taking a stroll down to the river in Ascot, a bush hike in Lesmurdie Falls National Park, a game of golf at Hillview GC, a hit of tennis at Belmont TC or having a quiet schooner down at the Balmoral all within your beloved electorate of Swan then watching the rubbish going on in Canberra they are an embarrassment to our great country the lot of them!

Got to admit if I was lucky enough to have an RDO I wouldn't be spending watching like Swan, each to their own I guess. Thursday an odd day for an RDO anyway.

I think who is running the country is very important. No confidence motion moved in the Senate

Are you sure you are not on one big permanent RDO Swan?

I think there will be a by-election given the parlous state of government numbers in the house but after all this crap, the Libs would be no shoe in to retain Wentworth.

Yes...could be although you'd think she's crunched the numbers and gives herself a silly chance of getting up.

Clover Moore would be a strong chance to win if she nominated.
