What a Silly Willie. I always thought he's going to struggle to stay off the weed up there where I imagine it's as easy to get hold of as chewing gum. And at an airport? That's as dumb as using Gatorade to fill your specimen bottle.

Just about impossible for the Eagles to see a path forward with Willie now I think regardless of the court outcome. What a shame, regardless of which club he plays for he is an absolute joy to watch.

Willie got his wish of no conviction but 12 month good behaviour bond and a lousy $500 fine. I got a feeling WC will give him another lifeline for next year. But clearly he's got a problem that needs to be addressed otherwise it's just going to keep happening.

Maybe he’s a bit of a rebel (a silly one at that), but it seems he may have an unhealthy addiction.

Maybe he smokes it for pain or maybe as stress relief or sleeping aid, who gives a fk its fa I know there was a high profile WAFL player who had a puff and a couple of bourbons every Friday night to relax and he was a good player in his day, pretty sure he wouldn't have been alone. Plenty of athletes in the states and other legal country's use it

So Weed is illegal in most/all states in Australia, that will change in the near future and already is as medical mara is legal with a script if you can find a Doc to write one. Plus it ain't exactly a performance enhancing substance, quite the opposite in fact and far less destructive that the worst drug of all ...... alcohol. Meth is catching it fast but grog is still the worst. most weed users injure them selves by fighting over the last timtam or the TV remote, not by coward punchers and the like.
So I hope Willies suspension is not extended as it wasn't performance enhancing, that should be how these things are judged IMHO.

This case is an attempted smuggle of a prohibited substance and one banned under sporting codes in place 
But as we know from past instances at the Meth Coast Eagles in the past 20 years all is not pristine or untarnished in regard to illegal substances and disturbing behaviours
so Uncle CEO - what will you do in this case ???
