Like you have pointed out regarding the strikes - if he knew/thought he would fail why not just take the strike and no-one would know (except of course the select group who do)

I’m agreeing with you way too much lately jack it’s getting weird. After this news broke I thought to myself last year he looked really fit. This year, maybe after coming off a long injury lay-off I thought he put on a bit around the girth but seemed since then to have worked it off.

So did he use some sort of supplement to help him lose weight? Remember Shane Warne copped a ban (1 year I think) for taking a diuretic? I remember Willie was a shed load overweight when he was first drafted.

not sure why he has been banned before he has been found guilty -- due process, procedural fairness and natural justice all come to mind.

jack: your probably right, it may be in ASAD'S policy, but it is clearly an 'abuse of power'. He should be able to play to the end of the season pending the result of the investigation.

the bloke from Collingwood had a case that took a year to be finalised - it would look pretty silly if Rioli played for a year and then was found guilty and all those games he played in would have to have had the result adjusted.
