Yeah he's a nice young bloke, well 27 is young to me, looking at the next stage in his life, great to hear these guys want to stay involved. Wonder if he'll end up over at the retired Subi players home at the Scarborough A grade ammo's (PFL)

Simon Moore has gone as well. So from last year's GF side we're also missing T E-B, Wheeler and Moore....all replaceable with some good young talent coming through.

4 with Joycey, not too bad given the run we have had. Expect to lose a heap of experienced players over the next 2 season starting with Horse at the end of 2020, Dela & Kitch at the end of 21, all top 10 players in the comp.

Yep SS...hopefully these draconian recruitment restrictions will be lifted by then.

Not so sure, BC. I can see some dark clouds on the horizon, as I did at this stage last year, until you were able to assure me things would probably be OK.

Are you in a position, as yet, to do so with the 2020 WAFL challenge?

I am mostly concerned about the mighty Demons (with their new 80 goal guy, and with or without Leggxit), plus the mooted guernsey change, and the upgraded HJ's stall. They could just about take it all - not that would necessarily be a bad thing of course.

Well jack...here's the rub...with recruiting restrictions not seen anywhere else in world sport and the meteoric rise of the likes of Perth, EF, EP and others I think we're coming back to the field at a rate of knots. Our 90 point GF win last year is a distant memory and we'll have to be at our very best to be competitive. Our training standards must lift, our culture needs to go up another level and the players have to take a death or dishonour attitude. If that happens we might just make the 5 but that's a big IF.
