I hear you and BH Mike but I guess the question remains do you continue to pour money into a venue which is past it's used by date just to maintain a few memories of times gone by. The WACA is terribly underutilised and to get it up to something meaningful in WA's sporting landscape will cost a packet and then there's the ongoing maintenance on top of that.

Peel to stand alone? Good idea. They will be going back to the Murray Districts won’t they? They can take their millions, their two manufactured flags and win flag after flag. And they could take the WAFL coach of the century with them.
