Yeah was hoping for 5000 on a perfect day, but tbh, with Claremont in anything you are lucky to get 2000.

Around 3500 was about right by this seasons standards.

A Subi v Claremont GF at Optus would of been a disaster attendance wise.

Lets hope we get 15,000 and not 8k at the 60K echo chamber, the sooner we have a dedicated WACA venue for WAFL finals the better.

I noticed while I was away the SFFC thread was down to ONE poster, Southerner - who is the moderator, he was posting and literally answering his own posts! No idea what has happened to people but the interest has vaporised.

it is a widely known fact that most East & South Fremantle people have always supported the Blue & Gold druggies so interest & attendance was going to be compromised when their stand alone team was introduced.
Thankfully I have & never will support either of them so it's pretty easy for me but I'm definitely one of the minority

Well done to Souths finally breaking their prelim hoodoo, looked like more than 3500 there. The Souths boys looked pretty excited after the win and the post game interview with Schloithe indicated the Bullies have anything but a defeatist attitude that some on here like SDT would love them to have. He said this is a new game, the previous season means nothing and they go in with zero pressure so anything can happen, great attitude and what ever others may say there are 7 other teams that would love to be in South position. Imagine being a Souths or any other club supporter, not turning up and missing the chance at the possibility of seeing one of the biggest WAFL finals boilovers in history, Subi are heavy favourites but anything can happen on the day, injuries, whatever can turn a game on it's head.

There seem to be only 10,000 people here at Optus Stadium for the grand final

It ended up 19.800, by 3/4 time it was about 6k
