Typical WP response - any spin to get out of a straight answer. You should go into politics mate.

They already are getting into EP, the trouble for you is that most if not all of us are saying NO we don't want it, we will face the music for the decisions made and subsequent outcomes, we (the supporters on here understand our responsibilities). We don't want the WAFL/WAFC offer, the Chairman and CEO may think differently but we are honest in our protestations unlike ..........!

As for poaching I cannot think of to many players from WP that we need or even want, perhaps a Lourey or Meadows.
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so stupid people won't be offended

Riddoch clearly got the scraps off Cockie then !!!

Ollie and BH,

Swans would have been in a identical situation to WP if the players during that period had not walked away without their match payments. I personally know one of the Swans players that wasn't paid and there were a number of others with him. BC, your club is the epitome of "Cheat" so not interested in what you have to say.

Bazza is a few cans short of a 6 pack and is too temperamental and highly strung, anything he says is to be taken with a pinch of salt. Finally, can you bright sparks give me a summation on how this should been handled ?

PS: Don't tell me that we needed to go on fund raising scheme for 2 months to get $800k because we got $200k in 2 weeks, it doesn't work like that !

You've answered your own question but you're currently in denial...players take pay cuts, the club negotiates payment terms with creditors rather than skulking into administration where they get practically SFA and then goes on an intensive and sustained fund raising drive.

BC,

Again, what were we to do, the only other option was to get a loan from $ubi Corporate !

One thing we can all probably agree on is that the WAFL competition is now irrepairably damaged and the culprit in all this over the past 5 years particularly has been the WAFC with its actions and inactions which have undermined the competition to the extent that it is now a farce. Maybe this was the plan all along.

Mike I'm not sure the WAFC could have done much to prevent this particular fiasco from happening in the first place given most of it was off the books. I agree some of the decisions in recent times beggars belief but I don't think this is all down to Taylor et al.
