The other disappointing aspect in all this is I have not seen any WP official make a statement or a public apology or anything else taking full responsibility, outlining the circumstances of how this came about and what the club will do in the future to make sure it doesn't happen again. I would have thought something from the President and CEO to all WP sponsors, members and supporters as well as the general WAFL public would have been appropriate given the way it's brought the entire WAFL into disrepute. There's not even a written statement on the WPFC website....pretty ordinary for mine.

Swans would have been in a identical situation to WP if the players during that period had not walked away without their match payments. I personally know one of the Swans players that wasn't paid and there were a number of others with him. BC, your club is the epitome of "Cheat" so not interested in what you have to say.

Bazza is a few cans short of a 6 pack and is too temperamental and highly strung, anything he says is to be taken with a pinch of salt. Finally, can you bright sparks give me a summation on how this should been handled ?

PS: Don't tell me that we needed to go on fund raising scheme for 2 months to get $800k because we got $200k in 2 weeks, it doesn't work like that !

thats a big pile of horse shit if I have ever heard it. I have heard both our CEO and President on a number of occasions mention on a few media forums that they apologise to those effected.

You've answered your own question but you're currently in denial...players take pay cuts, the club negotiates payment terms with creditors rather than skulking into administration where they get practically SFA and then goes on an intensive and sustained fund raising drive.
